This production method is especially advantageous in the maritime industry, making electric boats up to 50% lighter than those built with traditional materials like aluminum and polyester spraygun layup. Vinylesther, unlike epoxy, can be combined with a high end gelcoat ensuring a long lifespan. Vinylester’s exceptional resistance to osmosis and corrosion ensures a longer lifespan and reduces maintenance costs, translating into greater value and reliability for boat owners. The use of vacuüm injection in the manufacturing process significantly minimizes harmful emissions, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.
